Don’t Stare is a fun stealth platformer where you play as an Introvert trying to avoid extroverts who just want to talk! After a party goes wrong and breaks up your friend group, it’s up to you to bring them back together. You’ll jump, climb, slide, and flip through a journey about friendship, loneliness, and self-discovery in a world full of chaos!
As you move through a hand-drawn city with cool, nostalgic places like the Grocery Store, Gym, and your own house, you’ll need to make and break eye contact with extroverts. By doing this you can trigger their special abilities to help you get around. But be careful to avoid pushy salespeople and those screaming babies!
It is a heartwarming story about five friend’s who each have their own struggles and challenge’s. You’ll need to avoid a crazy bunch of extroverts in this fast-paced, yet forgiving stealth platformer. There’s also a parkour system you can try, which makes you faster but comes with more risk. Plus, you’ll face game show-style “boss battles” with funny but tough questions like, “When are you going to settle down?”
You can also decorate your room with items from different styles and countries, and customize your introvert with all sorts of hoodies, trousers, skirts, and accessories. The game’s unique soundtrack will keep you immersed, and when the extroverts drain your social energy you can pet animals to recharge and save your progress!
