Introduction to CATO: Buttered Cat Repack
CATO: Buttered Cat is a cute and fun puzzle platformer, inspired by the buttered-cat paradox meme. The idea comes from two things: cats always land on their feet, and toast always lands buttered side down.
In the game you control two characters Cat and Buttered Toast. You will need to use their special interactions to solve puzzles at every level.
You can move the cat left and right, make it climb the scratching board, and even slip through pipes. And yes cats are liquid after all! As for the toast, you guide it like a projectile, jumping further the more you power it up. When both cat and toast work together, they can activate the paradox, which takes them to hard-to-reach places!
CATO takes you on a puzzle filled journey through five different worlds each with its own unique challenges.Along the way you will meet mysteriou’s characters who will help you solve puzzles. you may also like to download Candy & Toys Store Simulator
The game focuse’s mostly on puzzle’s with some light action. You won’t need to do hard platforming most of the time, but there will be some annoying enemies blocking your path. Luckily your abilities will help you beat them.
As you progress, you’ll unlock mini-games that you can play anytime in your little hideout. . These rooms contain Easter eggs and mysteriou’s items from other world’s. Take them back to your cozy hideout put on your favorite outfit, and continue your adventure!
Team Woll is the developer behind CATO: Buttered Cat. . They met during the BOOOM Gamejam 2022 hosted by GCORES. The positive feedback from the game jam inspired them to officially form their studio. CATO: Buttered Cat is their first game, which took two years to develop through remote teamwork. They hope you enjoy it, and they’re grateful to everyone who supported them along the way.
