In this game, you don’t have a physical body. To find your sister, you’ll need to shift your soul into other people’s bodies. The story is set in mid-19th century Japan during a time when it is always raining. The world is shown in a pixel art style that captures both beauty and darkness. In this game, the two are always connected.

Yushin, the main character, has mastered a special sword technique called Misty Riposte. When he counters an enemys attack he deals heavy damage in return.
The game takes place in Aihama, Japan during the last years of the Edo period. One rainy night, a group of men attacks an umbrella shop run by Yushin and his sister, Yui. Yushin is killed in front of Yui, leaving her all alone. The next thing Yushin knows, he’s looking down at his own dead body, now just a soul with no form. This event shake’s up the quiet town revealing a deeper mystery hiding below the surface.
Even though Yushin is dead, his soul won’t rest until his sister is safe. He’ll possess anyone or anything to rescue her. But he only has seven days before his soul leaves this world forever. The question is: can he save Yui in time?
