The Frogs are the latest species to join your cause bringing their skill’s in stone masonry and their love for water, which adds a new layer of strategy.
One of the key additions is the Frogs. They aren’t your ordinary settlers; they have a special skill set. The Frogs excel in stone masonry and can increase the rate at which new citizens join your settlements. However, they have high standards when it comes to housing. Unlike others, they won’t settle for basic shelters. Instead, they demand unique Frog Houses that you can upgrade up to four times. The new Coastal Grove biome bring’s a unique challenge. Your settlements will now begin near water, far from the help of royal envoys. This building is exclusive to the Coastal Grove and allow’s you to send out expeditions to search for treasures buried in the waters. All you need is to supply’s food for the Water Strider and its rider. The more resources you invest, the better the treasures you might find. It is a new and interesting way to hunt for fresh building design’s and upgrades.
With this update, new rewards have also been added to the Smoldering City’s upgrade tree, specifically to benefit the Frog species. There are 3 new Legendary Cornerstones, 1 new Epic Cornerstone, and several new rare and uncommon perks to discover. You’ll also have 12 new orders to complete, all based around the Frogs’ strengths and abilities. Whether it is upgrading their house’s or managing their specific needs, these orders will push you to take full advantage of their unique capabilities.
