In this major expansion for Crusader Kings III, you get to control the power and glory of the Byzantine Empire. This empire is like the heir to the Roman Empire, and it comes with its own unique politic’s and culture. You’ll experience a new system of ruling different ways for your characters to rise up in society, and new things to do. You can even play as a landle’s adventurer traveling around the medieval world, looking for fame and glory.

One cool feature is the Administrative Government which lets you experience medieval rule in a totally different way, outside of the usual feudal system. Instead of just kings and nobles, you have a bunch of Governors fighting for power in the empire. Some will earn their place through merit, while others might be sneaky and corrupt. If you’re good at playing politics you can keep these power-hungry people under control.

Then there’s The Family Estate. Even if you don’t own any other land, you can manage a strong family estate, which is where your House gets its power. You can build new stuff and make improvement’s to increase your influence and power within the empire.

The Influence System is another important part. You can build up your character is influence in the empire to climb the ladder of power. You start as a landless noble with an estate, and over time, you can work your way up to control valuable provinces, eventually making your claim for the ultimate prize—the Purple, or the throne. you may also like to download Remnant II® – The Dark Horizon

If that’s not enough, you can also live A Life of Adventure. This means you’re not tied to any land or kingdom, and you can roam around the world freely, fulfilling contracts as a landless adventurer. You can do this across generations building your reputation as you travel earning gold prestige and fame. And, when you’re ready, you can settle down and claim the land you’ve earned.

Moreover, you can choose who will be the next Successor or Caesar of the empire. Use the influence you’ve gathered to pick the next ruler, whether it’s a member of the royal family, a strong noble, or a hero from the army. You can even choose to co-rule if the weight of the empire is too much for one person to handle.

There is also some new Byzantine Flavor Content, including events monument’s and activities like chariot racing that fit the Byzantine theme. Plus there are new cosmetic additions, like a Byzantine-themed UI skin, new court outfits, and even a special throne room for Royal Court sessions. And to make it even cooler theres new music inspired by Orthodox holy chant’s.
