In Gimmick! 2, you meet the small green yokai Yumetaro again. Decades after his first adventure, he’s now on a new quest in a world full of exciting challenges tough enemies and hidden treasures. You can either play the game in a friendlier assisted mode or, if you like a challenge, go for the classic “Gimmick!” mode, just like the original.

As a yokai, Yumetaro can summon and throw a powerful star that not only bounces but also keeps the speed of his movements.  You can use it to hit switches fight enemies and even ride on it to reach hard to get places while exploring the worlds secret’s. By mastering the star’s bouncing physics you can find treasure, shortcuts, or even set speed records. So keep experimenting with it to unlock it’s full potential. This game truly has some “star power”! you may also like to download GigaBash – Mighty DLC: R.O.J.A.K & Balzarr

The soundtrack of Gimmick 2 is composed by the legendary David Wise who has made both news music and remade old classics from the original game. The music was directed by Pelle Cahndlerby and recorded live in Sweden with Joel Bille.

The original Gimmick! game was released for Famicom™ in 1992, but it was only available in Scandinavia. The game became famous and loved because its gameplay and physic’s were way ahead of its time. Now, with Gimmick! 2 the whole world gets a chance to experience it!
