This game is an old school text based adventure where you control everything through a command console moving around interacting with object’s and solving puzzles.
If you enjoy escape rooms, imagine one set in a deserted house with a maniac on the loose. You need to find the code for the exit door and get out before the killer finds you. Be quick and quiet because the killer is always on your trail, even if you’re just standing still.
Your keyboard is your main tool. You’ll need to type commands to move between rooms, check objects, and interact with items or events. you may also like to download Can’t revert
The setting is mysterious with up to 17 different room’s to explore each hiding its own secrets. There are multiple killers so you’ll always need to be on guard
Every playthrough is different—the door code, hint locations, and even the killer can change. The game is truly retro, with no modern comforts—no tutorials, no saving, no mouse or gamepad support. Even adjusting the sound volume has to be done through the command line. And if you get a Game Over, you’ll have to start from the beginning.
There are also customization options, letting you change things like the killers voice sound effects background music, and even the room layouts. I understand that Type Your Fate might not be for everyone. That is why I suggest trying the demo before you decide to buy it. If you enjoy the experience, great—go ahead and get the full game.
