The game has two multiplayer modes random matchmaking and friend matchmaking. Play with random players or friends up to four people at once.

There are cooperative mini-games like defeating yokai punishing corrupt officials and dealing with volcanic eruptions. The yokai get stronger based on the players strength and stronger yokai drop more prizes.
Collect various Edo period themed prizes. The more prizes you collect the more rewards you get when you reach the Sugoroku goal.
You can upgrade abilities like Gatling guns auxiliary launchers appearance changes attack power and firing speed.
