Introduction to Aconitum Repack
The story begin’s with a brave female knight who somehow survives when her village is suddenly attacked by an army of orcs. After healing from her injuries, she makes a promise to herself—she will take revenge. So without any help, she sets off on a journey to find and defeat the orcs.
This is a hardcore sword’s fighting game where one strict rule make’s things even tougher. If you pause the game, your health will be saved exactly as it is at that moment. The main goals of the game are to defeat at least 25 marked enemies, find 25 hidden gems, complete 20 or more quests, and defeat the boss in a special boss quest.
When you defeat small goblins you collect enemy data. After gathering some data, you can mark a weak enemy and go to its location to defeat it. Scattered across the field are white gems that boost your sword’s power. These gems can give your sword different effects like fire electricity or poison slightly increasing your attack strength. Collecting them will make battle’s easier. Additionally, marked enemies drop keys after you defeat them. If a treasure chest is nearby, a sound will guide you to its location. Using the key you can open the chest and collect hidden gems.
Healing in this game is different from most others. You can only regain health by switching to a Heal Sword and attacking enemies with it. This means you need to keep switching between your normal sword and the Heal Sword during fights.
You can also take on quests by pressing the view button’s. Quests have time limits, and completing them before time runs out will count as a success. The more quests you finish, the higher your progress in the game.
For Xbox players, here are the controls: Move using the left stick and adjust the camera with the right stick. The A button is for attacking, B is for dodging, and X is for switching swords. LB is for defense, while RB helps you target the next enemy. The D-pad allows you to check enemy data, status, and sword details. Press the view button to start a quest and the menu button to quit the game. You can lock on or off to enemies by pushing the right stick and toggle the canvas by pushing the left stick. If the up and down movement of the right stick stops working, adjusting the stick settings in the options can fix the issue.
