The game introduce’s fresh gameplay elements including a battle system that smoothly switches between field and command modes. In this game, certain characters can enter an “Awakening” state, where their powers become much stronger for a short time. Van, for example, can transform using his Grendel ability, while the Dominion Knights can use their stigmas to reach this powerful state. When awakened, characters change in appearance and gain more attack power and speed, allowing them to perform devastating combos. While in this state, breaking objects in the field refills the Boost Gauge, helping players stay awakened for longer.

Another new feature is “Dual Arts” which lets players combine two elements from Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Time, Space, and Mirage to perform incredibly strong magic. These spells use a lot of EP (Energy Points) but deal much more damage than normal attacks. Many new Dual Arts have been added in this installment giving players even more options for powerful magic.

The game also introduces the “B.L.T.Z. System,” an improved version of the “S.C.L.M. System” from previous games. During battles, if players perform normal attacks, crafts, or arts while having the “Blitz” bonus, they can activate “B.L.T.Z. Chain” or “B.L.T.Z. Support. The chain attack lets a supporter add an extra hit, while the support system boosts both offensive and defensive skills, making battles more tactical and exciting.

Another battle feature is “Z.O.C.,” which affects both field and command battles. On the field, pressing the right button when the Z.O.C.gauge is full slows down enemy speed, letting players attack freely. During command battles, activating the S (Shard) Boost twice enables Z.O.C., allowing characters to act continuously while staying in their boosted state for an extra turn.

A major part of the game takes place in “Grim Garten,” a virtual space taken over by the mysterious group Ouroboros. Players must form a team and fight to reclaim different parts of this space. Each area is like a board game, where characters move forward step by step to clear obstacles and unlock new sections. Defeating the powerful Guardian’s in each domain opens up new paths and rewards.

However, as players progress, Ouroboros will try to interfere in different ways, making things more difficult. As players explore Grim Garten they will uncover secrets about Ouroboros and even shocking truths about the world of Zemuria. The game also introduces “Grimoire Decoding” where player’s use Grim Token’s to unlock helpful items like Sepith HOLOWCORE’s Quartz and accessories.

Another unique feature is the “Pedestal of Remembrance,” where players can place special orbs called “Memento Orbs” to reveal hidden memorie’s from Zemuria’s past. These orbs contain key moment’s from the lives of important characters and reveal major event’s that shape the story.

The game’s setting is also deeply connected to the larger story of the Kiseki serie’s. Long ago, C. Epstein, the father of the orbal revolution, predicted the end of the Zemurian continent. Now, as “X Day” approaches, a huge orbal rocket is being prepared for launch from a military base in the Kunlun Range. The entire world is watching eager’s to see if humans can travel beyond the planet’s atmosphere and uncover the mysterie’s of their world.

At the same time, powerful forces from all over the continent are gathering in Ored, where a young “Spriggan” is about to embark on a journey that could change the future of Zemuria forever. Will this historic moment lead to a new future or will it uncover darker truth’s hidden within the world. The fate of Zemuria is about to take a dramatic turn and player’s will be at the heart of it all.
